On September 11th, Lucas Bird took home the win at Findlay Stadium Stateline Speedway's Open Wheel Championship Night. The ForeverLawn #24 car put on a show.

Lucas qualified 1st with a 13.814. That is fast for Stateline Speedway! After the draw he started out in 4th. For over half the race Lucas had to fight to make gains and just took the lead with 20 to go.

Folks showed up to race and it showed in the competition. Although Lucas took home the victory, close behind was Randy Lerch.

Up next is the Tri City Raceway's Fall Classic, and the team is already working on the next victory. But they are not alone. The Northwest Modifieds will be combining with the Rockstar Energy B-Mods and it is shaping up to be a race to remember.
Says Lucas, "I'm very excited to finally get on this track after last year's mechanical issues that caused us to not be able to make it. There is going to be a lot of very good competition with two other modified classes joining in. We're going to be triple checking everything on the car making sure it's in the best shape possible to try and end our great season with a bang."
Lucas has been at the top all season. This is the last race of the year. With five first place finishes, it's going to be exhilarating watching for the sixth.
